NYC Boiler Inspections
New York City requires annual boiler inspections for properties over six units and properties that are for commercial or mixed use.
Our aim is to insure a safe running unit that complies with NYC code, without causing additional stress and aggravation. We accomplish compliance with less aggravation, by offering a boiler “pre-inspection” to identify any potential issues before coming back to do a formal NYC inspection. This often works best for new customers whose equipment may not have been maintained properly in the past. A pre-inspection usually eliminates the additional paperwork, time pressure, and additional NYC fees to file a correction of violation. Since we are mechanically trained, our inspections deal with safety issues often over looked by others, and our fees are quite reasonable as well.
